Termination of Farm Animal Services from 30th November 2023 both in hours and out of hours
Dear Valued Client
We are writing to inform you that Hawkedon & Homefield Vets will terminate our farm animal services effective from 30th November 2023. The decision has been reached after careful consideration of various factors.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of servicing your veterinary needs for farm animals, and we are sincerely grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in us. As veterinary surgeons we have a legal obligation to provide an out-of-hours service, or a suitable alternative care provider, for all species that we treat within our working days. We are unable to continue to provide adequate cover.
For those of you with ongoing needs for farm animal veterinary care beyond 30th November 2023, our team will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition to an alternative veterinary care provider. We will also be able to provide any necessary medical records or information to facilitate the transfer of care.
Please be assured that whilst we bid farewell to our farm animal services, we will continue to provide care for our small animal and equine patients.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation for your understanding during this transition. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this decision, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery on 01284 789428.
Thank you for being an essential part of our practice. Your loyalty and support have played a significant role in shaping Hawkedon Vets, and we value your continued relationship with us.
You are receiving this communication as a registered client of Hawkedon & Homefield Vets
In line with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) code of conduct, we are required to inform you of a change to our service provision.
